I’m rounding up the last few signals on this mech system for the month!

Here’s how the latest positions fared.

In this revised version of the Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy, I’m waiting for RSI to cross above or below oversold or overbought levels to indicate a bit more momentum in the direction of the trade.

Make sure you review the tweaks here.

USD/CAD was moving sideways for the most part of the week, bouncing off the top Bollinger Band several times.

However, RSI didn’t really reach the overbought zone in those instances, failing to generate valid short signals.

The only signal that came up happened late in the week, and this long play is still open for now.

Meanwhile, CAD/CHF had a bunch of short signals that managed to grab some pips even while price was trending higher.

The first short play reached the middle band to lock in some gains and have the stop loss adjusted to entry.

Price dipped pretty close to the opposite band before pulling back up, missing the full profit target and hitting the adjusted stop instead.

The next short play also managed to catch some gains at the first profit target before closing the remaining half at entry.

Another short signal popped up late in the week, but this had to be closed early when a new signal followed. The last short play is still open for now.

Here’s what went on so far:

With that, the Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy wound up with a 5.5-pip loss or 0.11% dent, erasing some of the previous wins.

Seen how the numbers turned out for the previous quarter and for the entire 2020 yet?
