This strategy caught a handful of signals that mostly turned out profitable for the week.

How many pips did it catch? Read on to find out!

In this revised version of the Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy, I’m waiting for RSI to cross above or below oversold or overbought levels to indicate a bit more momentum in the direction of the trade.

Make sure you review the tweaks here.

USD/CAD caught a valid short signal early in the week, and this was able to dip to the first profit target at the middle band.

The remaining half of the position had to be closed at the trailing stop adjusted to entry.

Another short play popped up before the end  of the week, and this also bagged some pips when it hit the middle band.

Here’s how it all turned out:

CAD/CHF also caught a couple of valid plays for the week, with the pair catching a long signal early on.

This position was able to lock in gains at the middle band, then the remaining half was closed at breakeven.

Another long signal popped up mid-week, and this *almoooost* scored a full win, but unfortunately price came up short of hitting the opposite band.

Instead, the pair snagged a tiny dent since the first half of the position was closed for a small loss.

With that, the Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy wound up with an 8.5-pip or 0.17% win, which ain’t much but still a gain nonetheless!

Seen how the numbers turned out for the previous quarter and for the entire 2020 yet?
