I’ve rounded up THREE mechanical forex strategies right here to see how they performed recently. Take a look!

I’ve got a neat systems snapshot table for their latest performance down below, but keep in mind that the time periods and some trading assumptions vary among my fellow FX-Men.

HLHB Trend-Catcher System

The “Huck Loves Her Bucks” mechanical system uses a simple EMA cross method, combined with the RSI and ADX indicators, to catch short-term trends on the 1-hour charts of EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY.

In this week’s trading, Huck is shrugging off hundreds of pips in losses after ONE big trade more than made up for all the losses. Can you guess which pair helped her gain a net of 128 pips (+0.43%) this week? Read more.

SMA Crossover Pullback

Robopip’s newbie-friendly SMA Crossover Pullback trading system is as simple as its name suggests.

This strategy features an SMA crossover method to gauge the trend and a Stochastic pullback entry signal on the 1-hour charts of EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and EUR/JPY.

Trends have picked up once again over the past week, churning out better results for this strategy that goes with the flow.

It was able to bag a full win on EUR/USD’s long position but unfortunately snagged a loss on Cable’s short play.

A fresh long position was opened on GBP/USD, and I’m hoping that the uptrend makes up for the earlier loss. EUR/JPY continued to climb, but there have been no crossovers or new signals for this pair.

The strategy wound up with a 150-pip or 1.00% gain for the week. Read more.

Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy 2.0

This Short-Term Bollinger Reversion Strategy 2.0 is one of Robopip’s newest creations and is currently being tested on range-bound pairs like CAD/CHF and USD/CAD.

Both pairs were trending lower for the week, bouncing back and forth between the lower and middle Bollinger Bands.

USD/CAD caught a valid long play early on then managed to lock in some pips on the first profit target. Meanwhile, CAD/CHF also caught a long position but this didn’t fare so well.

Another valid long signal popped up for USD/CAD towards the end of the week, and this one is still going. For now, the system is holding on to a meager 9.5-pip or 0.19% gainRead more.
