Whether you buy a pre-made scrapbook or do a digital scrapbook or make your own unique baby book – your baby will eventually grow up and treasure looking through the memories you recorded.

There are a variety of ways to make a baby book.  If you are into scrapbooking you can  easily find lots of ideas online for making your own.

But most of us like things a bit simpler.  So, you can buy one that you fill in as events happen. There are many choices of baby keepsake/ memory books for girls or for boys or if you prefer, more neutral choices.

Some baby keepsake books are for the first year only and some are for baby’s first five years.

Another nice option to consider is a baby memory box.  Some have this along with a memory book and some use this by itself.  These are great for storing mementos that are special but won’t fit inside a book – hospital bracelets, a special item of clothing, etc.

The best baby memory book is the one that you pick and you use.  Don’t let it sit there thinking you will fill it in later.  Enjoy each moment with your baby and take the time to record it while it is fresh in your mind.  An empty book is not a good thing.

If you are making your own book, you may want to make sure you include some or all of the following ideas.
